WorldPride is being celebrated in New York this year, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, an event which helped spark the LGBTQIA+ rights movement. Joining the celebration, the Museum will host a series of events, workshops, discussions, and performances that recognize the culture and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community, including a vogueing competition staged on The Met’s iconic plaza.
