My friend Alex of French Guy Cooking has been on a mission to explore various sauces in search of the mother of all sauces.

As part of his quest, he traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to visit a friend who hand makes high-end copper cookware. There, Alex assisted in the making of a jaw-droppingly gorgeous (and jaw-droppingly expensive) sauce pan.
