An LED Matrix Word Clock with the Adafruit MatrixPortal #CircuitPython #Adafruit @Adafruit

From the Adafruit Forums, user belsonc has created a word clock, built with the new WiFi connected, no-solder Adafruit MatrixPortal board on the back of a 64×32 LED RGB LED matrix display. The same components are in AdaBox 016 just out. It’s programmed with CircuitPython and connects to the free Adafruit.io service to get the local time.

So… this is my second CircuitPython project ever, and the first I’ve started from scratch (I have a pyportal and modified the quotes project to use local quotes instead of reaching out to a server for them). I’m also using my Adafruit stuff to teach myself Python in general. And now I’m trying to figure out what I want to do next… lol
