Vintage Footage of Vintage Nintendo

The difference between an Atari Gen Xer and a Nintendo Gen Xer is as stark as it is inconsequential to anyone who is not a Gen Xer. With Nintendo made pervasively relevant again by the astonishing success of the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo kids can once more look down their nose at the older, stranger, and far less relevant Atari kids. While some of it is narrated or is part of interviews, much of it is simply footage capturing day-to-day activities, which is incredibly relaxing to watch in a “slow TV” kinda way. The workers assembling NES consoles by hand is particularly great.
