Can You Use Resin to Cast Usable Tools?

Resin doyen, Peter Brown, wanted to know if you could cast usable tools (a hammer, a drill bit, screws and nails) out of resin.

Tl;Dr: Not really. The hammer did drive (and even remove) a nail, but that was about it. But that gave Peter an idea and he promises further experiments.
