Experience the first Apple Store in augmented reality #AR #Apple
With this augmented reality experience, you can now visit the world’s first Apple Store.
Developers used a video recording of the store given by Steve Jobs to recreate the first Apple Store as an 3D model. I find this amazing because it reminds me of my first trip to the Apple Store where I bought my first Apple product: a second generation iPod. Previously I had visited countless times gawking at the beautiful computers and software, but couldn’t bring myself to pay what seemed like a huge premium for a Mac over the cost of a Windows PC. This is awesomely nostalgic.
On May 19, 2001, Apple opened its first two retail stores in Tysons Corner, Virginia and Glendale, California. Now you can revisit the world’s first Apple Store exactly as it appeared twenty years ago on grand opening day through an interactive augmented reality experience.
