From the mail bag…

I am a hydrologist who works for the state of Arizona. About five years ago,
I wanted to learn how to make my own hardware to support field monitoring
operations. On a google search, I came across your learning section, and
went from not knowing the difference between an amp and an ohm, to building
my own solar powered IOT solutions for environmental monitoring in remote
locations. I just wanted to take a minute to extend my sincerest thanks to
all your patient engineers who have helped me debug my various projects
throughout the years – you guys have made a huge impact. Thanks in large
part to example set by Lady Ada, I’m now hosting my own monthly workshops
at a local hackerspace here in Tucson, and even started my own YouTube
channel for citizen scientists wanting to learn about Arduino. The highlight
of my day is now trying to find innovative solutions to challenging
field-monitoring problems. Usually, I can find the same by checking out your
website- I can’t thank you guys enough.
