The Sony PS One is 21 years old today #Gaming @Sony
The PS One (right, above) was released in Japan 21 years ago today July 7th.
The PS One was a smaller, redesigned version of the original PlayStation (left, above). It was the highest-selling console through the end of the year, outselling all other consoles – including the PlayStation 2.
